The Southerner

Gabe Chang-Deutsch
Senior Gabe Chang-Deutsch is returning as the News editor for his fourth year in the Southerner. Gabe spends a majority of his time debating for South’s debate team and keeping up on his school work. He is very dedicated to the sport of debate and plans to continue debating in college. Besides debate work, Gabe enjoys slacklining, biking, rock climbing, volleyball, and spending time in the great outdoors. When not occupied with debate work, Gabe likes to spend outside doing his favorite activities and hanging out with friends when possible. This year at the Southerner, Gabe is excited to work on adapting the newspaper to being exclusively online.
