The Southerner

Khayaal Desai-Hunt
Khayaal is a sophomore in her second year working on The Southerner. This year, she is working as the Arts and Entertainment editor. In the times of distance learning, she enjoys reading, baking, and going on walks to meet with her friends. Khayaal joined Newspaper as a freshman because she was hoping to develop her writing skills and I knew that Newspaper would be a new way to learn. She also enjoys that newspaper connects you to the South community in a unique way. Khayaal is excited to expand her skills as an editor this year, as well as help others to be stronger writers.
