Sugaal is a junior entering his first year on The Southerner. Sugaal joined newspaper this year because he enjoyed having classes last year that pushed him to have stronger writing skills, and he wanted to continue to improve his skills. He is excited to write stories that get him more connected with the South community. In his free time, Sugaal enjoys outdoor activities like basketball and biking, especially during this time of social distancing.
