Ezra Gearhart, Staff Writer
Junior Ezra Gearhart is in his first year as a Southerner staff writer. Ezra is a well-rounded individual, participating in math team, debate, student council, ASA, and NHS. Gearhart is the captain of the debate team, an activity he has done since he was a freshman. Gearhart is typically very busy with his activities, and as a result, he sadly hasn't touched grass in years.
Gearhart doesn't have much free time, but when he finds some, he enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and getting coffee. He finds himself interested in engineering and other science fields. One of Gearhart's favorite memories was when he went to Thailand as an 8th grader. He especially enjoyed visiting family and eating lots of food. He hopes to go back someday.
