John Hickenlooper, former Governor of Colorado

Age 67

Hickenlooper, a Governor in proximity to multiple mass shootings, stresses the importance of issues like gun control. Hickenlooper supports universal background checks. Seen as more moderate than much of his competition, Hickenlooper doesn’t support Medicare-For-All, opting for Medicaid. His environmental position has been contentious because of his simultaneous support for the Green New Deal and fracking. Hickenlooper has been criticized on healthcare, and the environment.
