Andrew Yang, entrepreneur
Age 44
Yang studied economics and political science at Brown University before becoming an entrepreneur. Yang founded Venture for America, an organization helping other entrepreneurs create jobs in American cities. Venture for America has created over 2,500 jobs so far. The campaign focuses on implementing a universal monthly income of $1,000 for every American. He has taken a stance against artificial intelligence’s takeover of jobs. He supports Medicare-For-All, the Green New Deal, and increased support for immigrants. Yang’s proposed universal monthly income has been criticized by some as being unrealistic.
