Guille Bastian McClain is a junior and this is her first year at the Southerner. She’s always enjoyed writing about things she’s interested in, and has a passion for creative writing.
Along with writing, Bastian McClain is also athletic. You might catch her swinging a bat or making a diving catch; She has played softball ever since elementary school. She started playing at South High in eighth grade and wants to play again this year.
Bastian McClain is fond of her many trips to Mexico. She likes the food, especially the fruit, and appreciates being able to leave behind the freezing temperatures of a Minnesota winter in favor of warm weather. Most of all, she loves visiting her family and making memories with them.
Bastian McClain is passionate about environmental issues, and works to do environmental activism when there is an opportunity to. In the future, Bastian McClain hopes to create an environmentally friendly hotel in Chiquilá, Mexico, with her cousin.
