Ellie Barnett-Cashman
It’s Ellie Barnett-Cashman’s second year in newspaper and this year she’s coming back as a Sports Editor. She joined because it seemed cool and she made friends along the way. She also enjoys biking and bikes to school when it’s nice out. Outside of school, she has done gymnastics since she was 5. She also loves camping and traveling, she spent a month backpacking in Wyoming and over the summer, worked as a lifeguard at Lake Nokomis, Lake Harriet and Bde Maka Ska. Now Barnett-Cashman works as a server/waitress at the Himalayan restaurant. Outside of school she participates in various different activism groups, which are very important to her. She enjoys spending time with friends outside and also plays ultimate frisbee, which she has been playing for 4 years now.
