The Southerner

Ella Kressel, Staff Writer

Ella Kressel is a self-described scatterbrained freshman writer for the Southerner. She very much enjoys school, and being on a schedule. She joined the newspaper because of its community of wonderful people, and the position of influence and power it has. Outside of school, she acts, sings, dances and “spend[s] a lot of time thinking and acting on social justice”. She is currently a member of South High Theater, but was a part of the theater program at her middle school, Southside Family Charter. She has 3 siblings: Aria, a junior at South, and two younger brothers aged 6 and 3. Her favorite colors are baby pink and yellow, her favorite word is content, and she enjoys reggae, pop, and country music.
