Paulina Poehlman, Staff Writer

Hello! I am Paulina Poehlman, a sophomore, and a staff writer for the Southerner! I love social justice activism, playing ultimate frisbee in the spring and fall, and understanding my math homework. I pride myself on my collections of G2 pilot pens and water bottles. More often than not, you can find me awake at 3 a.m doing my chemistry homework and listening to the music of my favorite women, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and Nina Simone. I enjoy reading books about social justice when I can find time, which isn’t very often. A huge reason I’m apart of the Southerner is because of its amazing display of the strength the voices of South High students have!
